This is Alma.

A talking menu with a nutritionist built in. Alma walks you through every option, sends your order to the kitchen, and dispatches it to delivery. All in one.

A paper menu can't answer questions

Does it have dairy? How much protein? What is it in Portuguese? Guests guess — or order the one thing they already know.

0Questions a printed menu can answer
15–30%What delivery apps take for being the thing that answers
9Languages the waiter speaks — on every menu

The phone is worse: answered mid-shift over a noisy room — and every missed call is a paid order lost.

Health coaching with real numbers

Every dish on every menu is broken down into ingredients and matched against the USDA food database. Calories and protein are computed — never guessed.

"What gets me 40 grams of protein under 600 calories?" Answered from real ingredients, in any language.
  1. Ask about any dish — calories, protein, allergens, what it actually is. Answered out loud from the restaurant's own data.
  2. Order to a goal — "high protein", "keto", "light" — the waiter picks real dishes that fit.
  3. Nothing is invented — a dish that isn't on the menu is refused, and the waiter never states an allergen fact it wasn't given.

One wrong gluten-free answer can put someone in the hospital. That's why every claim comes from data — not from a guess.

Try the nutrition x-ray

Type any dish from any of our menus. Hillstone and SHA never published nutrition — these numbers were estimated from their ingredients tonight.

One waiter, two doors

The table QR and the restaurant's phone line reach the same waiter, the same menu, the same kitchen.

On the table

Scan. Talk. Eat.

The QR opens the live menu with the voice orb. No app, no account. Order out loud — the cart and kitchen ticket build themselves.

On the phone

The menu answers the line.

The same waiter picks up the restaurant's own number, takes the order, and it lands on the same kitchen screen.

No marketplace in the middle, no commission. On a prepaid venue the kitchen never cooks an unpaid order — payment settles on Solana in under a second, for a fraction of a cent.

How it becomes a business

The menu is the wedge. The rail is the business. The data is the moat.

  1. The free talking menu. Onboarding is one file — paste a URL or a PDF and the menu is live. The cheapest customer acquisition in the category. Five Miami restaurants today.
  2. The dataset nobody else has. Every menu we serve gives us dishes broken down to ingredients, with allergen and diet tags. Delivery apps only have dish names — they never needed more. We can't answer "does this have gluten?" without it.
  3. The marketplace they can't build. "Forty verified gluten-free meals, Thursday, downtown." Search across restaurants by dietary need — catering, corporate, schools. High ticket, planned ahead, far better economics than $18 delivery.

We route demand; we don't own it. The restaurant keeps the customer. We win on dietary certainty — the one thing DoorDash never collected.

Honest gate: before any dietary claim is sold, the restaurant must attest to it — a name and a timestamp, certification bodies for kosher and halal. One bad allergen claim ends the marketplace.

The marketplace

Every menu we serve is structured to the ingredient. That means you can search across restaurants — by dish, by diet, by macros.

Ask the concierge One AI over every menu — it suggests a few dishes, not five hundred.
or open the full voice menu →

Catering, corporate, schools — search by dietary need across every kitchen we serve, and each order goes straight to the restaurant that cooks it.

Add your restaurant

Paste your menu's URL or drop the PDF. Watch it become a live talking menu — with its own QR — in under a minute.

Any format works — a website, a PDF, a photo of the printed menu. One file in, a live voice menu out.
Then the nutrition engine takes over on its own: every dish is broken into ingredients and matched against the USDA food database — so the menu can answer calorie and allergen questions even when the restaurant never published them.

Built tonight

Dishorb runs on a working system: voice on Gemini Live, five live Miami restaurants, kitchen screens and thermal printers, Solana Pay. Tonight added the phone line, the health coaching, and pay-before-kitchen. One Rust binary, no framework — git log main..shipnight is the night's diff.
